Financial Mentoring Program
Build Your Financial Foundation Before You Graduate
We know that residency and fellowship are demanding—not just in time and energy but financially as well.
Budgets are tight, and financial education is rarely included in medical training. That’s why we created the Financial Mentoring Program, designed to help residents and fellows establish a strong financial foundation before their income jumps post-graduation. No strings attached—just guidance, education, and support to set you up for long-term success.
How the Program Works
This complimentary, no-obligation program is designed for residents and fellows who are serious about getting their finances in order but may not yet be in a position to afford full financial planning services. Once accepted, participants receive:
A “Get to Know You” Meeting – We start by understanding your current financial situation and long-term goals. This helps us tailor our education and recommendations to what’s most relevant to you.
Foundational Financial Education – We cover the core areas of financial planning—student loans, budgeting, insurance, investing basics, and tax efficiency—to help you build a framework for when your income increases after training.
Ongoing Access to an Advisor – Throughout your training, you’ll have access to an advisor to ensure you’re making consistent, positive financial decisions. You don’t have to navigate big financial choices alone.
Apply Now
To ensure high-quality guidance and accommodate financial limitations, we limit the number of residents and fellows accepted into the program each month. Admission is by application only, though if you know someone already in the program, they can nominate you to bypass the application process.
We prioritize those who are serious about getting a strong financial start but aren’t yet in a place to afford full financial planning services.
Why We Offer This Program
We believe that every physician should have access to trusted financial guidance, even before their income significantly increases. This program is a great way for us to grow our relationships with new physicians, while also giving you a chance to try us out. It’s critical to have a trusted financial relationship early in your career, and this is an opportunity to build that trust from the ground up, even before you’re making attending-level income.
While we hope that if we add value, you’ll consider us as your financial team in the future, there’s no obligation. Whether you become a long-term part of the HumbleWealth family or not, our goal is to help you establish financial confidence and clarity before you graduate. And if this program helps both of us build a lasting relationship, all the better.
If you’re ready to take control of your financial future, we’d love to help.
